Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 February 2026

1. Scope and Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to AnviRealty ("we", "our", "us") and covers personal data collected through our website, calculators, contact forms, and related services. This policy is intended to align with applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

2. Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of data:

  • Contact details such as name, email address, and phone number when you reach out
  • Inquiry information you submit through forms or messages
  • Usage data such as page paths, viewed properties, viewed localities, searches, comparisons, favorites, and inquiry actions
  • Technical data such as browser family, device type, operating system family, referrer, and campaign attribution parameters where available
  • Cookies and analytics identifiers, along with localStorage and sessionStorage items used to support sign-in, preferences, comparisons, and analytics continuity (see Section 6)
  • Account information if you register — authentication data, saved preferences, favorites, and watchlist
  • Property inquiry details — which properties you express interest in, site visit booking requests

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Respond to your queries and provide requested services
  • Improve calculators, content, and user experience
  • Send important service-related updates and notices
  • Facilitate property inquiries and connect you with relevant project information
  • Personalize your experience — saved properties, comparisons, alerts
  • Measure visitor journeys across listings, localities, and property pages to understand product performance and internal buyer-intent patterns
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data based on your consent or other legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as compliance with law, responding to your requests, and ensuring network and information security.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We may share data with trusted service providers who support our operations, such as:

  • Hosting, analytics, and infrastructure providers such as Vercel
  • Database, authentication, storage, and application infrastructure providers such as Supabase
  • Email delivery and communications providers such as Resend
  • Analytics providers such as Google Analytics when enabled in production
  • Legal or regulatory authorities if required by law

We do not sell your personal data. Service providers are required to process data only for specified purposes and protect it appropriately.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functional and understand usage patterns. These technologies may include browser cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, and first-party event identifiers. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect certain features such as account sessions and saved preferences.

The technologies currently used by our platform may include:

  • Essential authentication/session cookies used by Supabase for sign-in and secure account access
  • localStorage items used for theme preference, chat state/history, and other on-device user experience settings
  • sessionStorage items used for temporary comparison state, calculator flows, and visitor session continuity
  • First-party analytics identifiers used to connect page visits and interaction events within a browsing journey
  • Google Analytics tags when enabled in production to measure traffic and page usage
  • Vercel Insights and Speed Insights scripts for website performance and operational measurement

We use analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our platform, which pages or properties are being explored, and where users drop off before inquiry. We may also use this information internally to prioritize responses to leads, improve advisory workflows, and improve property discovery experiences. We do not use free text inquiry messages as analytics event payloads.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Broadly:

  • Account data is retained while your account is active, unless deletion is requested or required by law
  • Inquiry and site-visit records may be retained for sales follow-up, grievance handling, internal reporting, and legal compliance
  • Analytics events and session-level engagement data may be retained for internal performance reporting and buyer-journey analysis for a limited operational period, and then deleted, de-identified, or aggregated
  • Device/browser preference data stored on your device remains until you clear it or your browser removes it

You may request deletion of personal data held by us, subject to lawful retention requirements.

8. Security

We implement reasonable security practices and procedures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption of data in transit, secure authentication, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our safeguards.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or erasure of your personal data, or withdraw consent. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond to your request within the timeframes prescribed by the DPDP Act.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal data without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.

11. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Some service providers may process data outside India. Where applicable, we ensure that such transfers are made in accordance with Indian law and appropriate safeguards are in place.
